Even if you had extremely good lenses/sensors but only 3.2mpix, sure the photos will look fine on your phone, but it can only capture so much, imagine your photos are like a LCD screen, how much detail can..lets say, 640X480 pixels show? especially after it's sized up or zoomed in?
and i've compared iphone photos and videos already and there are nothing so special or High Quality about them at all...not that im siding any phone manufacturers, i personally think N8's video recordings are far better than iphone's vids.

Forgot to tell: made in xhina doesnt mean rubish. There are things made in china that are of a really high quality.

My i9000 gets 2251 in quadrant advanced after lagfix with eclair (no froyo). I am sure that when official froyo comes out it will get around 3000. About neocore: that benchmark is designed for qualcomm adreno gpu so is normally to get some more fps on adreno but I guarantee that sgx540 is more powerful that it. And one more thing. Except ram and photo camerathe phone (desire hd) has nothing over galaxy s. Actually it got some things that are missing:the amoled/slcd screen the 2gb rom and the 8gb internal memory. As a conclusion I wouldnt change my galaxy s for nothing. And btw: the best camera in a mobile phone was the one in the mighty k800.

I wonder if the new Sense UI would be available on the HTC Desire. I know Desire HD has more juice and all but still it would be great to see the new Sense on Desire.

but still a company with cheap second rate chinese parts bin phones.
just look at there horrible camera performance, battery life, and quality.
