    The HTC Sense UI is by far the best UI on a smartphone, period. Smooth and beautiful. At least it's original and somewhat still conforms to the stock Android UI, not like the Samsung-Touchwiz-Apple-Copycat UI.

            @ root
            no worrys, its good ive had the desire hd rom on the card now for a few days and its ok batt life lasts about a day.hasnt crashed,mind its gone slow a few times.but its expected.
            best part of it being on the card is that all u do red button reset and you can then pick windows or android from the start menu... thatnks to jmz(i think hes called on xda dev site)its a dual boot app.i use android about 99% of the time now and havent looked back.

              @Sausagedog,

              I didn't realize that the HD2 was unable to be completely flashed just yet. I was skimming a post about it and saw Android 2.2 and HD2's own memory. That does kind of suck that its based off the SD Card, but at the same time, its a failsafe for the phone itself.

              Hows the stability and speed on it?

                @5K1-Root
                android cant be installed on nand yet on the hd2 its run off memory card thus not bricking the phone windows shuts down for a split second then boots from ext memory.

                  Another article how Androids beats Iphone and blackberry as the top selling devices :
                  http://pinoytutorial.com/techtorial/android-beat-iphone-blackberry-top-smartphone-usa/

                  No debate about who's going to win the market IOS or Android, ofcourse android, apple killed themselves when they desided that IOS is the the " OS - NO " and people noticed that and looked at android and saw the freedom, OS YES . Statistics people!
                  I switched my own Iphone 3GS to HTC Desire.
                  Let me tell you something, i played more than two hours with the Iphone 4.
                  Im never leaving ANdroid and going back to the Stone Age IOS OS-NO Freedom

                    @Steve Job, IOS 4?!!!!
                    your kidding right?? it's the same UI interface since IOS 1, only difference you can change the background now on iOS 4!! Wow what an achievment, oh almost forgot so called multitasking IOS4, 3-4 years late!!
                    Apple fanboys, the apple market has lost 1,38% of their market and android gained 5%

                        Another day, another disaster. HTCs Sence has the most busy layout I've ever seen. No refinement whatsoever. The UI needs a complete design overhaul, with the main changes being simplicity and fluidity.

                          Poor UI it lacks a lot of elements to be on the same level as the great ios 4.2...keep on trying htc maybe one day you'll sell 1.7mil phones in just 3 days :-D

                            @ Sausagedog.

                            Flashing a custom rom requires you to rewrite the original OS from the phones memory. Therefor replacing W6.5 with Android 2.2, it still pulls from the phones internal memory and uses it to run. The only thing that uses the SD card is the Swap partition and EXT4 Partition as well, which increase performance some and allow APPS2SD, repectively. If the ROM is poorly made, it still has potential to permanintly bricking your phone.
