I got the marshmallow update two days ago but i didn't upgrade and today i can't see it again...even on the software update... Can anyone help

My Xperia M5 dual shows that the update is available. But when I downloaded the update and attempt to update the marshmallow it shows that UEgetphoneinfo failure. Have anyone face this kind of problem?

my sony compenion shows update avalable for m4 aqua dual but it can't be downloaded and after entering IMEI no on sony sight they shows yr phone is uptodate....
sony please send update to indian usears!!!

atir, 21 Jul 2016hey nishchahar any bug or issue in marshmallow on you m4 aqua? I haven't encountered any yet, the update seems pretty robust as of now (well they took their time, got us waiting forever), even the bug which was there while choosing a SIM for dialing (Dual SIM version). Although there are few things the i didn't like. For example the incoming call screen was better before, it kinda looks ugly. Also you might find the app drawer a little uncomfortable, it has changed entirely. Also the SD card issue is there, i hope they will release a patch soon. As for the pros Camera has improved, Phone is using much less RAM (Almost only half most of the time and i have many apps), haven't noticed the battery performance, but assuming the doze mode is in play it ought to be good

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2016it should be possible to get adoptable storage anyway. at l... moreIt can be done manually, but at least some people said on XDA that if you go "full" adoptive with your SD-card, the camera stops working. Thought about doing this to my wife's M4, but not worth the hassle and we really want this thing out of our house. The update made the phone a bit faster but the original problem still exists... A very bad/idiotic move by Sony, but they want to go bankrupt. :)

Even i didn't get the notification, but lucky me, I happen to have connected my phone with the PC and the PC Companion gave the notification. I hope it will help.

Is this for real? "On a side note, early M4 Aqua upgraders are reporting that the 6.0.1 ROM lacks the Marshmallow adoptable storage feature."
This was the only reason my wife hasn't changed her POS-Sony to a actually working phone! So now she needs a new phone, thank you Sony. The latest Android 5 is a buggy offering, if she opens Gallery and then open Settings, the phone gets stuck in a loop between Gallery and Settings, does not go to home screen... And the camera lens is a bit loosely fit, so we had to press the damn thing back in it's place to get the camera actually working.
We will never buy any Sony-phone again, never ever. The experience has been a total nightmare for a whole year.
