Android being a laggy OS was true back before 5.1.1 Lollipop due to the garbage Dalvik runtime implementation, now with the ART runtime in Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat; Android is only getting faster and faster from here, especially with the addition of Vulkan, we now have low level access to graphics API and a smooth operating system. You might be comparing LG or Samsung to Apple which is a bad idea. LG and Samsung have terrible optimization on their devices and they aren't made by Google, the people that work on Android. If you want an apples to apples comparison (no pun intended), compare the Google Pixel to the iPhone 7. Trust me, Android vs iOS wars have now become simply which you prefer.

This is great! Now I can rock an over-spec'd android phone that needs the extra horsepower to make up for the crappy OS (oh how I love the Windows ME style need to erase my phone every 6 months because it's laggy from installing and using apps) and when the lag and security flaws get to me; I can use a normal iPhone which doesn't need to be over-spec'd because the OS is actually written for the phone and doesn't use the same version of java from the Matrix trilogy.

That iOS case (if it works similar to this Android case) is a lawsuit waiting to happen, Apple owns too huge chunks of code of iOS for it to be redistributed as a ripped out FOS OS

Even iphone case maker hate the look of iphone. This should fit the iphone 7 as well. Since the design is no different anyway.
