Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 updates delayed until October

I feel delaying this update is not only gonna piss customers off, but will only harm future sales. Yes HTC, Samsung, and Motrola are far ahead in the android world, customers will most likely ditch there x10's and go for another handset with 2.1/2.2 pre loaded. It seems to me sony are bringing up the rear in the android world and are pissing customers off with blatent lies. One minet there on track for the 2.1 update the next its another 4 weeks.... Are they on this plantet? Piss one customer off they will never by sony again.... Remember the c905? The Satio? Even the vivaz had faults on.... Its no good at all

mizzou, 23 Sep 2010what problem? .. android 1.6 or is it an XY, can I make cal... more@ mizzou - same here ! I love my X10...and really don't care abt 2.0 or whatever. 1.6 still gets my basic work done..beautifully. And, oh ! Did I tell you I got this phone for free from ATT. Beat that !!

SE better to tell the truth that no Android update exists and at least people will not be hopfeul and wishful thinking about their Xperia phones and move on. Drop SE and embrace other android phones from HTC and Samsung.
SE is totally CRAP and enough with those false hopes.

hello good pm! im from Philippines and my sister sent me a sony xperia x10 from Japan carrier Docomo. Can i upgrade my phone here in the Philippines even come from Japan? Please help me and let me know! cos i really want to upgrade into android 2.1.. I really love Sony Ericsson since before Sony Ericsson is my BrandUnit! i have my k850i, and c905 theyre are really great and now i have X10 but come from japan.Pls hope i can upgrade this phone here!looking forward to here your answer pls pls pls!

what problem? .. android 1.6 or is it an XY, can I make calls and send sms, mms, listen to music, browse the web, e-mail, I'm happy with SE X10, no problem...

My advice is drop this turd, havent you already got your fingers burnt buying it? I have sold mine already, and got a lovely little MT,2.1 custom(soon cyanogen 2.2) firmware htc wildfire. I will be getting a desire HD soonest. Goodbye to this pos.

DONT BELIEVE ANYMORE TO SE! No 2.2 and 3.0 for x10 because they are focusing now to X11 and x12 because of the mistake of x10 to the world!

Im swithing my xperia x10 to HTC desire or galaxy S! This proves that its time to let go my xperia x10, im tired of fighting you xperia to my friends and to other people that this phone is cool. Sorry you keep breaking my heart to BELIEVE! Sony said "MAKE . BELEIVE" but answer this "HOW LONG" so i decided to sell it for 10,000 pesos only!

I had a Sony-Ericsson before, the P990i and it was the last I purchased exactly due to the lack of support from them. Again SE proves to be far behind the needs of their customers.
