It is 8 times better than an Iris scanner, while 5 times better than dual cameras, even 3 times better than 3D Touch, it isn't gimmick like them, it is durability and safer compare to gimmicks winners.

I dont know how is it in UK, but here in SEA, i can just go to the official service center and ask them to replace my battery.
And that is a lot cheaper than buying new phone.

so it's not double the battery life like for like for like phone
might as well gionee m5 marathon to your s7 edge which 50 hours battery life extra, but does mean you will buy a gionee phone
at end of the day, every phone has advantages and disadvantages, depends what suits your need
my wife has played with both the s7 and xperia performance, she preferred the x performance for a number of issues which she felt better for her usage and requirements

S7 Edge will last 2 days on 1 charge.
X Series guarantees charging daily.
Do the maths
X Series will be exhausted in roughly the same amount of time due to double the amount of battery cycles over the same period of time.
The only difference is one has pathetic battery and the other has excellent battery life.

apart from g5 which a removeable battery, there is few major manufacturers which have removable battery
if the case it seal the cost of labour and the original battery won't be cheap either

in other words, after 2 years, average android battery is exhausted, probably only retains 50-60% of it's original battery assuming charged every 24 hours, but with qnovo, it may still retail 80% of the original battery

I used to be fond of Sony, since they brought Z1 Compact. But over the time things changed, Sony keeps putting those ugly large bazels on top and bottom, once great battery life now is kinda average, and the pricing which makes you wonder about getting other flagships for much less, with more to offer. PlayStation owners may consider it, since it has its benefits, but for an average Joe this will not be an option. Price will go down quickly once the initial sales numbers will come through.
