The official name may be Redmi 3 Pro and not Redmi Pro because in one of the updated i received today on my Redmi Note 3, the name Redmi 3 Pro was mentioned in the change/update log. I have saved a screenshot of it incase it turns out to be true and they remove the name from change log.

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2016Xiaomi has bad built quality, buggy miui, bad customer serv... moreIn my experience Xiaomi's Redmi series phones built quality is the best in the price bracket. Better than a midrange Samsung I have know that cost nearly three times a much, but it's obviously no rival for Samsungs top end. I haven't experienced any bugs on any version of MIUI across three Xiaomi devices so far, amd small updates are guaranteed. Don't expect a Android version bump on a Mediatek Xiaomi, but it'll still get MIUI 9 based on Android 6.0.1 at the very least when it comes out.

AnonD-547163, 22 Jul 2016Which mid ranger phone has best camera? Help me plz.I had a Xiaomi Mi 4c (could be bought for $114.99 on GeekBuying) and it has a pretty decent camera. You can check the review for yourself on GSMArena. It has a SD808 and 2GB of RAM, decent batterylife and a good display. Overall a good cheap phone, but I suggest you get a tampered glass protector (it doesn't have gorilla glass) and a phone case as the plastic is soft and pleasant to touch but prone to scratches.

There won't be any Android updates for mediatek processor.
                                      Buy and will regret.
