A lot Disappointed with the RAM its same as E1 itself and MTK processor that means there will be no kernel sources? Motorola is loosing always in E series.

Unreader, 25 Jul 2016That isn't MOTO anymore. Nor design, nor stuffing. Motorola will face the same fate as Nokia did with Microsoft. They'll destroy the legacy.

I am genuinely disappointed in the chipset and ram...but i'll still be watching all those review and videos and hoping that its performance would not be as i am expecting. Is this the end for our trusted moto e :'(

Pre-ordered a Moto G4 and the family liked it so much they discarded their iPhone 5, Nokia Lumia 925, and Samsung S5 to grab one for $150.

I feared that it'll either have 1 GB RAM or MTK processor. Now I see it has both of these. And even worse, CPU is cloaked only 1 GHz. So good bye to the idea of buying it.

AnonD-496754, 25 Jul 2016Well Mediatek doesn't release source code so it is hard to ... moreNot only that, ALL mediatek chipsets are inefficient in battery usage. I am yet to see ONE efficient SoC from mediatek, including this 6735.

But it also means End of Support for Moto E 2nd :/ Very bad, because it is really good phone for the money it costs. After being purchased by Lenovo the Moto series changed to regular Chinese one-version group of devices. So bad ... will have to find an alternative in such situation.

I had hopes but it seems like Moto E is dead. For 100$ you get much better specs

No Mediatek Processor plz.
Put atleast SD410. Other specs are good for very tight budget phones.
