looks like only xiaomi is sensible to realise most people buying large phone for media consumption. 1080p display, large battery and mid range cpu/gpu is the key.
Need for 4k/2k display and/or high end cpu/gpu on a phone is unnecessary in this range. This phone is doomed before even released.

I think 6" is the standard limit as beyond than that will render it becoming a pad or tab. Will be difficult to put in trouser pocket too.

The price is tempting compared to Honor 8 but will this have the Sapphire Blue color the Honor 8 will come with

Guys, would you buy this or mi Max or xa ultra or zenfone 3 ultra? My friend wants to buy a Phablet and he is willing to wait. Camera battery design he wants everything. But his budget is around 350$. We are is willing to wait. It seems that zenfone is much expensive compared to the other three. His previous phone was zenfone 2 . Do you guys think mi Max has good cameras? What about its selfie cameras? Do you think that they're better than honor 8's ...I know it isn't up for review but if you've compared the two brands for silimilar priced handsets? Like note 3 vs honor 5x?

only 4400 mah battery..i will still go for mi max..as huawei CEO said,2K screen is not a necessary especially those looking for a phablet with low price :) battery and performance is what we looking for

even Note 4 is barely comfortable, every day i wish it were some 120 130g...
and i'm wondering if it will actually fit into a pocket?
maybe its more a tablet, than a fablet?
