I would like to see speed test between phones using same version of OS & UI launcher, same display resolution, same RAM on different chipset(650vs652vs625). This could clearly show the difference between the processor.
Later we can check whether resolution affect speed. Changing one of the above parameter & keeping rest all the same we can check which one is better..

Specs are good, but my only concern is the price. If price is similar to the Moto X Play (2015), I'd consider it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Any non Nexus Android is a liability because it does not receive monthly security updates. In this view, pricing anything for more than 450 USD is too much since by that price you would just go for the Nexus.
So Lenovo, I like the specs, but since you skimped on security, can you at least deliver price?

If it deploys the Moto G4 Plus camera then I'm sold.
G4 Plus uses flawed Sd 617 chipset that overheats when being pushed, even in relatively short time period.
This Z Play is gonna use a chipset that should improve on efficiency while being faster, and is gonna come with a bigger battery.
Lenovo've got themselves a winner here but they need to get their act together and release it in more markets sooner rather than later.

I want this but I feel like the Moto Mods will just ruin the pricing if the phone. I'm expecting in Canada hopefully no more than $450 off contract

Zenfone 3 vs Moto Z Play. In terms of camera zenfone 3 will be great. OIS + EIS. In terms of battery Z play will be better. If zenfone 3 comes with 5.2 inch then it would be great.
