Nexus is same as an alcatel pixi. Wow nexus 5x is better i think.

A generic set of rules (with slight variations of said rules) can not, and should not be considered a 'Design'. And, how one can consider one variation 'ugly' over another, when both variations share the same set of rules, with only slight visual differences being apparent ?.

The bezel is looks like Samsung Galaxy 1 from more than half decades ago, why Google can't at least design something a bit new?
Samsung smartphones has evolved into like something from the future,while Nexus after 7th generation still haven't changed at all.
It looks like Indian made $100 phones with ridiculously thick bezel.

It's a thin oblong with rounded corners and a display on the front.
How can people waffle on about the "design",oh,it's got a couple of buttons in rightly different positions from some other phones,oh,it's got a few dark bits and a few light bits.
That is not "design' .
I know the word has almost no sensible meaning these days,as any scribble on an old envelope can be called a design,but come on folks,it's exactly the same as every other mobile phone almost,rectangular,rounded corners,display on one side.
It's not a pyramid with three displays and a pair of arms for making coffee,now that would be a design,otherwise it's just pouncing about trying to make a slightly different clone device..

I can only hope they keep it that way - 5 inches, 4gb ram and same camera as in 5x.
The only problem with 5X I know of is low RAM amount, which causes hiccups here and there (my own LG G2 has a problem with 2gb ram - as soon as I get a call, my current 'heavy' application is shut down, if its not SMS reader). I planned to switch to S7 as soon as its price drops to a more affordable level, and this may become a good competitor. If the price is right.

I actually like the design. Its conceptual so lets see but a delightful break from all the clones with all the same specs.Nice bit of character will go down well and one should never be afraid of the colour plate. but please no glass on the back. that would not be a good move.
