Don't be under the influence of delusions of grandeur and imagine they're actually buying full price unlocked versions of the phone. Look closely - India has its own exclusive variant of the Note 7 (G) - So Samsung pretty much knows that truckloads of this phone are going to be sold... More than most individual countries in Europe... But as everyone knows - wait a couple of months and you'll probably get this phone for around 50 K...

Tell me when a later-than-S820 SoC has more than 70% performance or efficiency gain, then we'll talk. A 'ten'-sy wensy percent is not worthy of an upgrade. If one is not in it for the RAM upgrade or increase in newer or upcoming devices, S820 is, otherwise, better off and can hold its ground. While S821, on the other hand, does not offer something revolutionary, game changing, nor groundbreaking. Procedural minimal upgrade or tweaks would not offer a significantly greater experience. Personally, I do not mind holding on to an S820 or a weaker SoC in a device or some equivalent non-Snapdragon counterpart

Wait for only a couple of months and its cost will come down to INR 45000 as usually happens with most of the models of samsung. and I doubt Note 7 is going to meet the same fate as note 4 because of insane pricing and no innovation. iris and a little modification in S pen is not going to work. Samsung should realize and price that phones sensibly.

The differences will be minuscule and real world experience between the Note and whoever you pit against will be virtually imperceptible.

Remember never to buy samsung phones cause their software support is very bad for example my note 3 still on buggy 5.0.0 not 5.1.1 they wanted us to buy note 5 forcibly. Samsung dont deserve so much of money.

As usual we receive flagship phones late again. And probably not even the dual sim type. Google China, phil, vietnam. They get the dual sim, 6GB RAM, 128GB version. Does samsung think we can't afford their flagship phones just because we're 3rd world country?
