11 August, 2016
Apparently Samsung simply can't keep up with demand for its latest flagship phablet.

DisplayMate found that it could reach a peak brightness of whopping 1,048 nits , which the highest in the smartphone industry, and by a wide margin.

Jovan, 12 Aug 2016Where did you get that? I got mine from displaymate.com. I ... moreLol? No it was stated in most reviews and GSM arena even claims that. Your device and everyones device will not go over 1000 nits. I explained to you how it is and just check a Samsung S7, S7 Edge review and youll see for yourself. Whoever said it reached over 1000 nits, simply wrote it wrong or has poor evaluation standards.

Alright sorry, even below that level but still within reason. Samsung simply does not increase brightness levels by even 100, for each of its iterations, since that would imply a new display technology or LCD levels. Amoled displays cant get very bright, or battery will drain insanely fast.

Note7 has the single best and most innovative display of any smartphone, besting even the S7 edge. The first & only display with HDR feature, the only display with over 1000 nits of peak brightness (and lowest reflectance screen), the first & only display with dual ambient light sensors for the greatest auto brightness performance, the display with the most accurate color reproduction in any of its four screen modes, and of course with SAMOLED infinite contrast and true black, 2.5K resolution (awesome for VR) but also the first and only phone that enables its user to select the preferred resolution (even down to just HD) to really save battery life! Just wow. For these alone it's worth the premium price. The iPhones with their "retina" display are really a thing of the past.

AnonD-196068, 12 Aug 2016There are fan boys and there are haters too. I agree totall... moreYeah well, some haters have extremely justifiable points, that if they dont suit your glorious insight of a company, the you dont have any reason to complain if they arent affecting your decisions. Ommiting powerful hardware is a severe flaw for Note loyalists, which will make many look elsewhere in the meantime, but its totally valid and not just random unjustified hate. That and fan boyism, needs to disappear from most forums.

wow, this is like a free commercial because all blogs write about how successful the Note 7 is because there are delays . I think this says how unsuccessful Samsung's planning and logistics is.

                      Hi Samsung,
I don't like big phones. Please release a powerful 4.5 inch phone with 3 physical front buttons similar to Galaxy Active or Xcover. Can be thick for more battery.

So i lump them all together. Why can't they all be reasonable or at least attempt to be? I used to distinguish the decent ones. But lately most of the negativity i see not just for samsung in particular but for every oem come not from the decent ones. So i stopped caring as well.

Romie Lee, 12 Aug 2016I just came here to see what bitter Samsung haters say LMAOJust because someone finds a fault with something doesn't mean they hate it or the manufacturer. I can find fault with my current phone. It doesn't mean I hate it or the manufacturer. The fact that people keep trying to use so called hate as a mechanism to shut up legitimate observations or criticisms does in fact suggest fan boys who want to stifle anything that doesn't worship their views. Not that they necessarily say what they actually are of course.
