Weekly poll: do you want a flat Galaxy Note7 and why?

There are monetary, ergonomic or other reasons to want a flat-screened Note7.

    Already pre-ordered one black onyx note 7, since I got a good deal from my carrier. I'm not that worried about the glass back, I'm not a clumsy person and I slap on a case anyway. I wouldn't take any chances with such an expensive device. I've always had the latest Galaxy S flagship until the S6 and this is my very first note. The water resistance, impressive camera and improved S-pen are the main things that made me choosee it over the S7 edge. Not to mention it has double the base storage as the S7 edge. I also like how they made the black note 7 pure black, including the metal chassis which is usually silver.

        Owning a better phone. Note 4.

        Same screen, similar SoC (more cores, less per core performance), similar ram.
        On the flipside twice the battery (3x3200 mah), 1 minute charge time (I do a swap), control all my home devices (IR), better software that actually makes the phone faster than probably even note 7 (cyanogenmod).

        It's funny, but the new Note is clearly worse than the old one, only someone who does not know much would buy it. If you want a Note buy "4" + battery charger + 2 extra batteries (one at home charging, one in your waller for whence needed, 1 in the phone) + 128gb SD. And once you have it flash a clean/fast room (cyanogenmod) to turn it into a speed demon.

        All the above combine will cost half, yet give you twice the phone than the new Note

          Didn't vote because I don't want any version of it. Samsung just doesn't cater for technology enthusiasts anymore, and this is clear from the design and locked bootloaders. It's sad because they really have the best displays, cameras, storage and processors in the business.

              Still owning Note 3, I won't upgrade to the newest Note, because of the glass back. Hate it, it's fragile and is a fingerprint magnet on darker color versions. Plus I don't want the edge screen, not useful at all with the S Pen.

                    there is no option for me. No, cause it's samsung. + it's shitty focus don't worth the money for the phone + some features are not full (normal for samsung). samsung phones is just marketing, not smartphone

                      The new 4096 different levels of pressure, the new custom screen resolution, video to gift features are just one of its very innovative though
