Not really an issue for the ones who didn't buy the phone.

If this had 4000 mAh battery I would buy

That's a bit disappointing... I mean, why would such a big company release such an update. They must and should've done beta and other tests to try and filter out the fixed bugs and perhaps the ones that come up on the way of fixing.

True, that'd consume more time and money, but at least they'd provide stable fixes. (Stable doesn't mean perfect, small bugs etc.. will always occur)

It'd benefit both the customer's royalty, and the company's name and the fact that it'd be more trustworthy.

PS: I recommend everyone to wait a few more days updating their phones, and look at some forums, reviews...just so these (may be) can be avoided in the future.

divis200, 13 Aug 2016"don't they test it before releasing the updates?" Do you r... moreI know that, but I mean, this bug that was introduced is a pretty obvious one, LTE connection drops, come on!

AnonD-237381, 13 Aug 2016I think that adding bugs is a bit weird, don't they test it... more"don't they test it before releasing the updates?" Do you really think they can test everything? If everyone creating roms, apps, OSes could find all bugs and fix them just by testing then we wouldn't have any bugs. You should know that after fixing a bug 10 more can appear. Do you know how much testing would that take? You would never get any updates if they did it your way.

Overall their phones are still great, and they're still a fledgling company that has shown massive improvements since last year. So I expect them to get better, the real problem is whether they can retain low prices as they get bigger and more stable, or if they just converge with mainstream prices.

then again fix those bugs with new update....and water cycle

The ones fixing the bugs and adding features are not robots, they are people. Do you expect that there is 0% chance of breaking something in all of that data? Every device has bugs in their os, why do you keep bashing OnePlus. It's like you're paid to do so. The bugs in this update are not even that bad as you claim them to be. You never complain or write a whole new post just because a samsung phone got some new bug. Samsung devices are more expensive, so why don't you complain?

I have yet to have these problems with my one plus 3. If anything I am more disappointed that the patch did not fix the quad rooter vulnerabilities or the issues with the notification switch
