As of now, only middle class can afford this product. We can't boycott Chinese product as Apple prices are very high though, practically, we are only paying ONLY the brand. Get your senses APPLE CEO... Chinese product are now catching up and even overtaking when it comes to Smartphone technology. Chinese are offering high-end quality products and even doubling the specs of compared to Apple products.. Now, it's to Apple if they stay their course or make a smart move...

Apple needs to lower down their price of their low end devices.. We only buy their brand but specs are far behind from other chinese brands....

So I do aggree that apple won't go away anytime soon, but I think they will keep shrinking unless they do something radical with the next ones (I include pricedrops in this)
The rumours atm are that the regular iphone7 won't even be a real step-up from the 6s.

Android is more (just a little) lag than ios, but it has much much features and innovations.

There will be markets Apple won't ever touch but there will be based figure which Apple won't fall under simply due to the diehard following
Apple iPhones are not premium phones just premium priced items.
Apple are more of a status phone than a flagship phone and the thing that can't escape notice is the addition of feature, only in 2010 did the iPhone4 add camera flash
You are presented with piecemeal upgrade as major with a hint that your phone is outdated
When Apple iPhone went from 4 inches to 4.7 inches the iPhone6 is the iPhone5 with the larger screen minor tweet adding Apple Pay

Regardless of how you want to rationalize it you're still comparing an intricate car to a smartphone and don't use that concept crap on me, would make more sense to liken it to powerful desktops and supercomputers. And at least you're getting your money's worth in return with physical specs and hopefully good software and features too, whereas Apple just sells you a very expensive fruit.

I do not compare advanced cars with simple phones, totally wrong!!
I gave example of a CONCEPT: do you prefer (Quantity Vs Quality)
SOME people may pay more to get a phone they like or find it more elegant, despite being aware that the same money, or even less, may buy them a bigger thing (6 GB of RAM, deca-core processor and 6000 mAm/h battery).
So, if this is their way, I think they have the right to do so.
in mean time, we do not have the right to mock them and call them "iSheep" just because they agree to pay more.
If you do not like what they are doing, SIMPLY do not follow their steps. and STOP trying to prove that their choice is wrong or prove that do not understand tech.
PAL, PEOPLE THINK DIFFERENTLY! they are not the same.

Most people thought iphone cost only $200 up front payment, when in fact total cost over 2 year contract was over $700 for a mid grade chinese phone made by Foxconn. Thankfully, 2 year contracts have been phased out by all major carriers in US, so yes, people are less susceptible to be milked by Apple.
