Most people understand Nokia is in the past to the extent it may even have negative connotations. I mean, they already had their shot at revival and barely anyone paid attention, the people who did buy mostly regretted it.

Well, it's Android so it's not such a loss. It's not like it's a premium quality OS that can compete with iOS/Windows in terms of quality, efficiency, and design. The only thing that Android has is the Play Store. (which is not that great either)

AnonD-210527, 25 Aug 2016Lets stop looking at past and what would have been etc. Nok... moreJust because they partner with Chinese company, doesn't mean it will be a different device. Nokia still is calling the shots and making demands. China is just a manufacturer (same goes for Samsung and Apple). They just have to demand the quality, to please the customers. We all know, that many people have a sentiment for Nokia brand. If they give us great device(s), aggressively priced, they will shake the mobile world once again. They just have to make it right from the get go. There is no room for mistakes here, like the Blackberry did (decent device, waaaay too high price). Well...if anyone can do it, that would be Nokia.

The snapdragon 800 one should be android version of Lumia 1520/icon/930. While rm-1490 should be rival of galaxy s4. So it is really a waste that something potentially competitive scrapped just that simply.

I was know that nokia has developing several android devices through magazine of january 2014, plans to sell it before the microsoft acquisition completed. However the plan was scrapped to avoid legal action by microsoft. I think nokia x family was the only devices that have released to comsumer, but was also undergoing some modification in OS side to remove the google services in favor of nokia-microsoft one. But the X family was entry level specs…

too bad their choice was ms ...... other wise they could be selling android devicesas hot cakes because nokia was very competive in all departments low end mid range and of course the premium N series.

Lets stop looking at past and what would have been etc. Nokia is coming back to business. Lets see what impact do they make. I know this is not exactly same nokia but it should be able to make some impact with its logo.

Nokia and blackberry are loved even after they are no longer in market. I wonder besides Apple, if any of todays brand would be remembered like this.
