Huge phones have no presence here, biggest I've seen are 5.7 Note's.

since i played with my friends mate 8 which is 6", i don't want to get a phone below 6" anymore. so the galaxy note 7 isn't for me.

And the note is a great device, but if you have had two or three of them you may want to try something else.

They said it will months later not now in,IFA .
Mate series is their flagship Phablet series.
They sold handsome number of Mate 8.
So, they will definitely bring a successor but in November.

why are ALL THE PHABLETS in the 6+ inch range equipped with a mid-rance SoC? the 65x or 808 or helios devices, or kirin, that isn't even capable of HEVC encoding... wtf is going on in the (true) phablet range? i'm not talking about sub 6 inchers like the galaxy note 5.7".
last years xiaomi mi note pro was a true flagship (i own it), and now xiaomi doesn't bring any flagship 6+ inch device, as well as LeEco canceled their 6.4 inch SD62x device. now huawei cancels the mate series and announce a "midrange phablet". i wait to replace my mi note pro with a 6+ inch device using a flagship SoC since january...

What I understand about this rumored Female centric Series is just a Midrange Phone with 13,16 or 20 MP selfie camera .
It has become a trend with brands like Oppo, Vovo etc .
And they have more Female users then Huawei .
The Huawei executive also said they want to counter Oppo,Vivo with this upcoming series .
So, its definitely understandable ehat kind of "New Series" is coming .

The unboxing experience of the Huawei Watch was epic for its time, lets see what they have in storage. Altough, the Gear S3 running Tizen should be one hell of a nuclear missile in terms of performance.

The mate 8 was only announced and released around November, so this is to be expected.
But even then its only a Chinese release. I think the mate 8 was only available in the west around January, unless you imported it at a slightly higher price.
