29 August, 2016
A week or so ago, T-Mobile announced its newest Amp One unlimited data plans with several catches. T-Mobile said it figured out how to give its customers unlimited data, and that is by throttling all video streams to optimize the network.

Here, in Latvia (operator LMT - Latvian Mobile Telephone, largest operator in LV), we have unlimited data plan for 9,99 EUR/month and unlimited calls/sms for 9,95 EUR/month, so for less than 20 EUR/month you can get all UNLIMITED :) Streaming, downloading, LTE, of course. Poor other europeans :D

I don't get why the US consumer agency does not specify some guidelines that forces easier to understand cell service plans.

My current phone plan (plenti.dk) says the following:
18 dollars/month free text/mms free phone usage, free 4G data, max 50 GB used for tethering.
And that's it. no hidden fees, no bullshit of any kind, and it's all because the phone plans from years ago was so convoluted, the government stepped in and helped streamline them.

well, how can something "unlimited" if it is"throttling".
just your usual "I don't lie, I just didn't say the truth " marketing

You should also list that the one plus plan increases the video stream to HD,since that was most people's main complaint.Y you should also list that the one plus cost an additional $25.00/month per line. This article seems very "information light".

Telco don't listen to the consumers voice. all they do is advertise UNLIMITED DATA but its not UNLIMITED
-if you used up a large amount of data it will get throttled
-I hope Telco will do something about it
-if the do they have a lot of positive opinion from there consumer
                      -especially ME!!!!!!

If T-Mobile has respond to the costumer need. I wish that our Philippines Telco will listen to our costumer petition about at least one plan for Unlimited Data.
