[deleted post]yeah,milestone running well after update 2.1 but screen colors were ugly even as 16mil.support also camera was weak.just i have a question why x10 will not support 16mil colored screen as i know 2.1 support it

Google really need to sort out this fragmentation thing for the sake of their consumers. Each company should be given up to three months to update to the latest firmware.

Sony ericsson still didn't deny nor confirm that the X10 will get Froyo, but there is a high chance it may get it, but nothing for sure. The 2.1 upgrade will be rolling in a matter of days now, and it will indeed make the X10 in a much better position than it is now. Still, it will remain a great phone as it always was, but now it will be faster, smoother and with tons of more apps and games.

[deleted post]I completely agree with you... Its not the numbers beside the version number that makes a phone good. Its the overall experience. Can't say 2.2 vs 2.1 is a dealbreaker.

Just look at other manufactures problems, trust me you are lucky to be with Sony :
Motorola is ranked #251 out of the 317 companies that have a CustomerServiceScoreboard.com rating with an overall score of 25.16 out of a possible 200. This score rates Motorola customer service and customer support as Terrible.

So stop whining because you are not the only people that are facing problems, others are worse with and their getting very bad support with buggy softwares.

The thing is that getting Froyo late but working well and perfect is much better than getting it now and making it work worse than 1.6 that we already have right ?? So now let’s just enjoy the 2.1 upgradw which seems to be the best os working on android in the meantime.

LOL. A month? Google will have Gingerbread out by then, at least on the Nexus One. And Samsung may well have finished the 2.2 rollout for the Galaxy S by then.

Does this mean when 2.1 one is install the display will 16million already not a mere 65k? This is a BIG issue of the phone. It has a BIG screen but 65k only :(
