Motorola Moto G4 Play lands in India for $135

You all talk about specs and pricing and whatever, but the most important thing is user experience. Who cares about "outdated" specs if you have a pleasant experience using it?
I bought Moto G4 Play a few days back, and despite having a weaker chipset than my previous phone (LG K10, Mediatek version), is still faster. Open apps faster and has almost no lags.
Bottom line: better specs doesn't necessarily translate into better user experience.

Most of the forums is full of company people trying to push moto sales. Which is not much. Lower prices or perish. For 7k this phone will be a steal.otherwise it is stealing.

Any company can make Android device with joining all those parts.. But providing better user experience is the core.

Haters gonna hate, I want to see these Xiaomi fanboys one year from now. See who swaps phones first, the Moto users or the Xiaomi users. Still using the Moto E 4G, best budget phone out there. I get better signal and call quality than people with Galaxy S6. I also got Android 6 Marshmallow before them so STFU. Moto is quality all the rest are quantity.

Currently i use Redmi note 3 2GB verSion which performs better than my sold nexus 5x except in camera quality.
I have not faced any MIUI bugs on stable version. Please let me know what kind of bugs you faced on mi5.
Every os has bugs.Even stock android gets bugs.
As far as Indian market is considered which is become a dumping market for chinese/ non - chinese- including- Indian mfg. like micromax , xiaomi devices are real bang for buck.
The only major issue with xiaomi is that they seldom update android os to next version.

Snapdragon 410 is no more supported by Qualcomm, hence no Android Nougat :-( Don't every purchase this phone unless you want to stay forever with Marshmellow. Check this out:

Redmi 3s prime is better compared to this. People who don't like MIUI(I am in that list) can go for Cyanogenmod. Redmi phones have pretty good community support despite their buggy MIUI. I no longer worry about vanilla Android. I use redmi note 3 with cm13 BTW which is awesome. Just my opinion.

Even Samsung is offering same configuration at 8.5k on On 5 PRO. At 9.5 k ON 7 PRO has much better configuration. why would I go for a inferior build moto device. Forget about competing with Xiaomi and all.Now Moto can't even compete with Samsung on giving value for money. Motorola has gone nuts this time.

New Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus which was launched recently (along with K5 Note) has better specs than this with 3 GB RAM. You can get it at Flipkart for INR 8499. The older K5 Plus had same specs but with 2 GB RAM.
