Anonymous, 18 Sep 2016Im afraid the iris scanner works with glasses on thoughRegular glasses? That probably depends on how strong they are, the angle you're looking at the phone and the location / glare... all in all - you're better off removing any types of glasses lol

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2016so many problem with Iphone7 it's.... beautiful...That's all a matter of perspective... I'm loving the phone and don't face any issues. The 3.5mm jack is an inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

    Each to their own.

The phone probably wont even work in temperatures in which gloves are relevant. So not a big deal.

AnonD-442781, 18 Sep 2016So you buy special gloves specifically to use them with you... morewell it would be crazy to remove gloves and juggling the phone in the hands at same time so naturally phone will stay in pocket until gloves have been removed.
so its not a major issue about gloves.
but I don't think most people wud spend too much time outdoors in the cold. some will, if they have to work outdoors but these people wud hav coped with gloves and phones by now so no major worry

I agree I'm exaggerating it, but some people don't even want to concede that its an added inconvenience. A major one for people who buy smartphone gloves, because it basically makes them redundant.

I'm sure Apple will have the sense to sort it out soon.

by wearing gloves, u can still press on the home button to bring up the pin code screen to enter mobile as home button is Not connected to fingerprint for pressing it to access the password screen.
normal gloves wont be ideal but touch screen gloves will work fine in cold weather by pressing home button and entering password. simple.

and yes iv tried this on my friends iphones when its connected to fingerprint but still allows you to press home button to access password screen.
very simple and a stupid article.

it does seem like gsmarena post articles for amusement in the comment sections.

AnonD-442781, 18 Sep 2016So you buy special gloves specifically to use them with you... moreAll of my family and many of my friends live in continental climates - none of them own "smartphone" gloves. All of them own smartphones. I think people will live...

                        Way to go drama queen.

AnonD-442781, 18 Sep 2016The point is that it doesn't work even with gloves made for... moreIt said some users were able to use the gloves and some where not... so obviously the quality of the gloves has something to do with it. But what are the actual use cases here?

Now, I live in a part of the world where this bloody obvious "limitation" doesn't affect me, but given that the approved operating range for many phones is somewhere around 0-35 degrees Celcius, gloves seem only necessary below the 0 C point. I do get the "your iPhone is too hot and needs to cool down" occassionaly though lol

It's a pretty obvious discovery if you ask me, but really not a huge deal.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2016and u remove the gloves obviously for iphones. simple. ... moreSo you buy special gloves specifically to use them with your smartphone, and now it turns out that the home button doesn't work with it. And now you have to keep taking your glove off and on in the middle of winter because Apple decided to remove the home button to cut costs. And then while you're impatiently taking your gloves off and on, your phone slips out of your hand and cracks on the floor.

Yeah i know, that was an incredible feat. Apple underrated its own water-resistance rating lol, thats like IP-69 overthere, where TechRax even dipped one for 7 minutes in boiling hot water and it lived.
