Word of caution for all those who seems to be liking this phone.....Dont. I am a X10 owner and i m regretting to have spend so much money to buy this peace of shit.(read the blog review for details) Its worthless. Sony Ericsson duped us on this one. and i have decided NO MORE Sony Ericsson phone ever...

Bad timing Sony. I've been a fan for years. Just just moved on to Nokia and got the awesome N8 because your options are so limited. Come on man. Time to pull up your socks, catch up and start leading the race rather than lagging behind.

Mobilemaster, 14 Nov 2010This was funny! :)) This was the way SE made things, but no... moreDude, I hope so, bcos SE used to make great phones and they still do a good job with ps3, psp (arguably), bravia, alpha and genezi products. Never been much a sony fan, apart from mobile division, but in the last year I saw sony products rushing inside my house, just because they offered a great bang per buck and rock solid quality. Every brand has bad products (Omnia 2, somebody?), but this thing with X10 went way off hand. I mean, they released the product with ancient 1.6, now "update" to 2.1 and kiss us goodbye? I tell you, used to love SE phones (k750, P1, P1i), but if they don't serve me some froyo on X10, probably I won't buy another phone from them again (at least in the years to come)...

Bunch of haters, can't blame them when sony ericsson comes up short or slow on update. But my galaxy s on tmobile or a.k.a. Vibrant been buggy since day one and even after the update still buggy, but the gps does work by better. Had htc tp2 and that was laggy. Nokia N82 and sony ericsson P1i was the most reliable smart phone I had use!

Have x10 on O2 in UK... still no 2.1 update. Will not get a sony ericsson again even if they paid me. Now lets see if I can flog this x10 to some poor sob on ebay...

Sorry it just looks and smells like another fake. Though with HTC and Samsung rumored to make some pretty awesome phones, SE needs to be quicker than they were with X10 to stay in the game. Samsung is setting the pace in this industry now, Sony has lost all its innovation it had years ago and they're being punished for it.

2.3 on launch?? Yes, I believe... They'll probably release the phone with Eclair and promisse a update to gingerbread "soon". After a year they will release an update... To froyo... And then, when HTCs are running honeycomb, they may update to gingerbread... Or just tell you to buy their new phone. Like they are going to do with us, x10 owners.
