The trouble with Xiaomi devices is just how hard they are to get, even flying straight to China to pick one up yourself, it's extremely hard. I have had two attempts just trying to buy a Mi Band 2 in the last few months. Both times no stock at official stores.

It will be interesting to see what actually gets unveiled.
First everyone was speculating it was going to be the Mi Note 2 as it passed the CCC, then the Mi 5S passes TENAA leading everyone to assuming the 5S. Next the company on their forum even said there was no Mi 5S coming, leading some websites reporting that instead it was the Mi Note 2 being named the Mi Note S, then we saw a Mi 5S Plus box out in the wild.
I'm confused now :s

Logic for this could be:
- looks similar to latest iPhone
- costs way less than latest iPhone
- uses latest of hardware (sd821 and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner) ensuring best of performance ( on paper at least)
- dual camera setup
- past history of decent products from Xiaomi
All above factors have worked. And after success of redmi note 3 (SD version) in India, it has high chances of success in the country (if ever released)

any phones made from china and sold outside of china should be ripped off... so they would feel what it's like cloning those ugly ass phones by violating copyright & intellectual properties.
