I swear Huawei is becoming very terrific. One can't imaging the exact technological advancement that will come in the next two years. Am strongly waiting, this will be my main phone.

It's not Huawei can't make it, but that's really not necessary in order to save a lot battery. Another thing is, you won't use the same phone more than 3 years nowadays.

I have a 5 inch 1080p screen on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) and am more than happy with it. I regularly watch TV programmes, YouTube videos etc. on it, without any problem. I certainly wouldn't say 1080p was a fail. Quite the opposite.

the GPU sucks. I had a Mate 8 and it's dropping framerates on heavy games. Switch to Note 5 and it so much better. Exynos is much optimized than huawei's crap chip.

i learnt its gpu will move up to t 900 which is more powerful than any of the t 880. but as for next year p10 plans to move to a new gpu which is g 71 which will be faster than the t mali systems. samsung s 8 plans to do same next year.

Looks like their camera will be an improvement on Mate 8, but images over 20mp take much memory and are only a bonus when zooming in, so a 128 Mb model may be necessary for the photographers among us. I would prefer more attention on low light photography.
I (still) have a Mate 7, and an important drawback for me is the screen that gets black in sunny conditions, so taking pics on a beach is hazardous to say the least. I can't understand why makers do not pay more attention to bright screen , like Samsung and Oneplus do

1080p on 6 inches. They rock it like it's 2012. Make something with 2K and I might consider. Resolution is everything.

But it doesn't run as smooth as it should for a 1080p phone. Even the Galxy S6 with its Mali-T760MP6 runs as smooth and it is driving a 2K screen.
