Google Play Music now available in India

Just like Itunes or Apple Music Indian debit cards are not accepted so totally useless for us debit card holders.
Also Google Play Gift cards in India can buy Apps, Movies, Games but not Music.
So till then only credit card holders are very few lucky debit card holders which work on these international stores are welcome here.
Hope Google fixes this issue by allowing purchases via Gift cards on the Indian Google play music Store.

Well google is just beginning, and other providers like saavn, gaana, etc are already playing in the field with exclusives, streaming and high quality audio. Hopefully Google is able to pose a good enough USP for people to use this app.

But that doesn't mean i don't do it.. yes i love torrents, and i download all the time.. movies, songs, etc from all over internet without paying a penny... But yes, I also don't have enough money to buy them, coz i am an undergraduate student, and it's my father's money.. i can't afford to buy songs, hell i even sometimes find it hard to refill my car... but yes that, doesn't make you cheap... what makes you cheap.. is judging others, and being rude to others.. i will never do that to anyone.. If you cant spend only about 100 bucks a month for a quality music I really suspect your cleverness kid! Im sure you have not used a premium service like apple music or pandora or spottify before and hence LoLing on my reasons. Give them a try and then we are talking.

And quality, and platform crossovers are pretty much available to the apps I mentioned.. and peace of mind?? what peace of mind is there when you have to pay that much every-time you want to listen to a new song.. There is no way a clever person will choose this over a good economical option. And yes, the quality in the apps i mentioned are the same quality as Google's. 320kbps, and of-course FLAC or other lossless are not available to anyone, right now, but saavn is soon going to launch this before Google... AND OF-COURSE THIS APPS ARE LEGAL.. AS I MENTIONED DOWNLOADING TAKES PRICE, BUT STREAMING IS FREE... DOWNLOADING ON WINK IS FREE , ONLY FOR AIRTEL USERS.

Moreover, GPM is going to remain a fail in India unless/until they bring competitive subscription model like Apple while adding more to their music catalog. Regional collection is too limited for now on both.

I was waiting for this news like from ages already! Currently using apple music though - streaming both on my iPhone and Apple TV for just ₹120 a month. The quality is excellent, the collection though is bit limited.
Will check out the GPM...
