I'll take the 7.9" iPad pro please. the Apple A10X will be a true beast.
(I think it's a quad core 2.5 GHz. 200 MHz faster than iPh7)

AnonD-592842, 03 Oct 2016If the 10.1" still has 2GB RAM, I'd abandon the iOS and mov... more2GB on iOS is like (having) 4GB for/in android. Which is not a lot for tablets (IMO tablets should start at 6GB of RAM and generally be closer to laptop specs) but it is not little either.
Having said that I'd expect 3-4GB Ram this gen around. Apple was always very "giving" on their tablet line. Always the fastest tablets around.

If the 10.1" still has 2GB RAM, I'd abandon the iOS and move on to full-size Win10 tablets instead (p.s. still trying to use my 4.5 years old iPad 3, which was flawless for its time)

AnonD-319985, 03 Oct 2016Hopefully 10.1 means smaller bezels on the 9.7 form factor.... moreIpads have quite thick bezels for this day and age so they could easily fit a 10.1 inch iPad using the size and weight of its 9.7 sibling.
I must add that this should change the aspect ratio too. Back in 2010 4:3 made sense. Most of the Internet was rendered at that ratio, pdf readers had no cropping , plus media/video consumption was only a secondary thing.
With the Internet almost completely becoming widescreen, games too, Internet videos (youtube) and movies (netflix) becoming big and pdf readers autocropping to fit whatever aspect ratio 4:3 makes no sense. 3:2 should be the minimum, and maybe even more widescreened ratios should be used. 4:3 is a throwback to the past at this point...

Hopefully 10.1 means smaller bezels on the 9.7 form factor. I have a 9.7 Pro and I like it so much, but will not replace it soon. Maybe with 10.1 version 2
