In fact I was once a fan & proud owner of LG phones G flex, G PRO 2 & V10, until my V10 started to bootloop for no apparent reason & I had it fixed at my own expense & it happened again which I was advised against any further repairs due to a faulty motherboard, I since wrote to LG requesting for assistance but was completely ignored. There have been numerous incidents of the same issues posted on social media & the internet to update your information, thx.

The LG G 5 and some others including the LG V10 had no bootlooping issues that were caused by the software. Those that were I guarantee were with the owners rooting and flashing LG devices. I don't mean to sound like I posted to argue but set the recored straight some people can't get over 18 months ago.

Camera 2.0 stablization. 3 Michrophones and custom playback sound. I bet the added cost is the B&O headset. I bet when this offer ends the price will drop. Fast charging. AT&T Next 30 month is only $830.00

If anybody watched the LG event or read the live blog event it was mentioned by the LG executive that LG had partnered with B&O. The reason for this is because LG also partnered with ESS for the 24 bit quad DAC. With this new DAC the first of it's kind in a smartphone. This DAC and the B&O headphones together, the LG V20 is supposed to have the best high quality sound of any smartphone and the listner is also supposed get the best listening experience like no other from a small handset. The waiting period is not a consolation accessory for those that have been waiting for the LG V20. This wrong by the writer. Also when B&O headphones were announced no carrier was mentioned that would be excluded from this offer. And Since B&O have partnered with LG on this release time offer it should come as no surprise to anyone that it will be included with all US carriers. There is nothing on LG.com that you can do to make sure you get them but you can sign up an email address for more information on the LG V20 release.

Yeah, pity about this. I would rather the smaller pixel instead or HTC 10

first of all LG rethink your marketing strategy you announced the phone on 6 september and releasing it almost 2months after, note7 incident was prime time to take advantage its a phone makers dream but no you blew it now your pricing it way to high its almost equal to note7 price so first of all fire your marketing team and rehire smart people who know.how to do bussiness secondly lower that ridiculous price to something around $750 at max with those b&o headphones and thirdly once the phone hits the market immediately push android 7.1 update

Apart from the camera flash, looks DOPE. Much better than those ugly Pixels.

When the V10 first went on sale, it was $599.99, and now it can be had for $499.99.

So, what does the V20 have to justify the extra $231.00? A better CPU and all-metal build. Ok. Those are nice. But what else? Incremental changes to the DAC, the camera, the USB port, and a brighter always on display.

I wish LG all the best of luck, but I am glad I got my V10 when I did.

Their CEO asked more millions of bonus, their shareholder waiting for dividend. That all about. They think this time to rise the price because of Note 7 drama, people will rush buying V20.
Just act according to your budget and common sense.
Anyway just a cellphone, every 2 or 3 year become out of date.

Two killer factors for me - release day & price.

The former is extremely important. I won't have time to wait October 28. Be in Europe by Oct 23. I was hoping Oct 21. LG blew it again by taking forever. The price isn't as big of an issue but LG is supposed to be better bargain considering how their resell value is poor like HTC. Watch it drop it price by $200-$300 in a few months and even free with contract. Where are the freebies except a lame LG tablet from AT&T?

Better deal is the S7 edge. But I won't go that route knowing they have fire incidents too. Samsung needs to get their act together pronto. This year has been a time to tarnish their reputation. I haven't bought an iPhone in over six years. Looks like the 7 Plus is on my shopping list. Time is money and LG wasted a ton it for me. Three months of teasing and two months after its announcement. LG didn't move fast enough.

The iPhone 7 Plus checkmarks alot of things for me though - great RGB/IPS display, great camera with 2x optical zoom, water/dust-resistance which V20 lacks, dual front speakers, fastest phone on the planet, and most importantly, great, great battery life. Has adapter for 3.5mm headphones too. And oh yeah, and they are available the moment I land in the States on Oct 16th before leaving for Europe from Oct 23-Nov 2.

LG had a limited time window with me and they blew it again.

V20 is my only hope for modern smartphone with removable batterry this year.

Not sure how I will get it in Europe, but probably I will find a way (first of course need to wait for ZeroLemon to release proper battery, hoping for 9000-10000mAh.).

That's the worst calculation and commrnt I've ever seen! $830 equates to roughly 57k. Phones in India see a price drop within a month post launch, expect this one's price to dip quicker & steeper with iPhone, S7/S7e and Note7 ruling that price territory. I am holding my G4 for now, will get the V20 for about 45k but would only make the switch if it gets an unlocked bootloader!
