The 2 main flagships apple/samsung can demand the high price because they are desirable brands. Google pixel is not a desirable brand and will flop at this price point imo.
LeEco Le Pro 3 with 821, 8GB Ram, 16mp Front, 12mp Rear cameras could price themselves above $1000 according to specs. But they are not dumb like google, they know their brand is not as desirable as Apple/Samsung and will be priced well below thier flagship offerings.

Not to mention unlimited online picture and video storage.

Too pricey. I'll wait until it drops 30%. But by then it might be old tech.
