P.S. I meant to say "worse games" in my prev post but my iphone said better when he noticed i am trashing CoC XD.

just cuz of that sentence i dismissed ur whole post (that had some good points) look, people will play what they like, whatever that is and nobody has the right to call another a "sheep", let them play whatever they want, if u like "the better" games that's fine, but don't think ur superior just cuz of that, for example, i hate the candy crush saga to death but i don't go telling people sheeps cuz it's an overhyped lame game (cuz it's really not) it gained millions of dollars so that alone makes it a good business period.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2016What if we tell you that you can use GPS spoofing even with... moreoh it is possible, but as i said before, the most common one was the fake gps and that one needs the root so niantic made the decision, cutting most of the fakes out, again, the solution could've been another better one but that's what we got, my phone is not rooted so i'm not affected but i know some ppl that were... doesn't change the fact that the game was MASSIVE when it came out and now even when the hype is down the game can eb fun sometimes (i'm waiting for the pvp still)

This game is quite well made by itself. However I would posit that the Pokémon franchise was not the best stage for it. As many others have already pointed out that the original games were based on "Poke Battles" and levelling up your chosen Pokémon this way. At the moment the only thing closest to this experience are the gyms, even this however is far removed from the set battles that were in the original games. I firmly believe that for a franchise to survive it must evolve (pun intended) its play style to keep up with modern markets. In the case of Pokémon Go however it has evolved (and again) so far from the handheld console games that it just doesn't attract the same level of enthusiasm from its players. This is not to say that future updates could not bring it back and that the game, as it stands right now, is not good but it does need a lot of improvement in my opinion. The best thing to do would be to bring back the wild Pokémon battles. Such a basic aspect would revitalise the game and interest in it too.

Splitting the games in half and asking for season's pass, that costs as much as the game itself. Games released broken, unplayable for the first week, until they get patched up, false advertising, that serves to idea of bumping up the sales, no demos, because all of the above would come out, before people would actuallybuy it...no man, games market sucks these days, at least most of it. There are some decent ones, like CDPR or Bethesda, but even those have the issues. People have to stop giving devs the money, if they don't deserve it. This could fix the problem. Unfortunately a lot of young people purchase their games with parents money, so they don't care much.

I mean there are still fools that spend over 1k $ on games such as Loa 2,wartune and other p2w chinese games but don't know they can spend money on other games from steam.

played this game long time ago.
i remember played at london and paris from my bed in asia. no need to walk, and leveled up fast. and got some rare pokemons unavailable in my country.
then i got bored after a month, uninstaled it.

Well good job for them. It's just that I have a concern regarding on how the game is working. It's just literally THROWING POKEMON BALLS to the Pokémon you're catching. The only BATTLE that will happen is GYM BATTLE. I'm hoping that NIANTIC can update game. Regarding on how the game works and ADD some Pokémon. Because the Pokémon I know is making your Pokémon Battle the Pokémon you want to catch or you're just trying to make your own Pokémon gain level and evolve. I hope NIANTIC make this happen. Anyway after all I LOVE POKEMON from the very beginning. :D

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2016A Root is no cheat, but Niantic doesn't know that and banne... morethe root itself is no cheat, but the fake gps app (most common one) is allowed to function on root phones only, therefore, they saw no better way than ban all roots so no fake gps is allowed, yeah, that meant all rooted that were playing fair and square were banned as well (unless u unroot the phone which is easier than rooting for some) in my opinion, the ban came too late, people were "flying" all over the world since beta testers and when it came available in my country peopl already had dragonites and tons of coins which is unfair... either way the hype is running down but this is cool news and a really hard bar to catch up to ^_^
