If you had a recent Windows phone already, you could probably get access to early builds if you chose to the Insider program, but then you would have to deal with potentially glitchy and unstable system software.

Fifa mobile had an update before android/ios for some new features.

        But there's always that peace of mind that you can't get. When there's a time that you decide you want to buy something like a home security system or some thermostat or who knows. Chances are it will be on ios and android and not windows phone. The niche apps do matter for a lot of people. The irony is that niche apps don't make it on niche platforms.

        Some companies have something against MS. Snapchat CEO has made this pretty evident in the public eye with his comments. If the platform was popular then the app would be there because money talks. Of course going public could change things depending on the investors.

            Shifted to WM10 from Android, and loving it. Much straightforward, clutter-free, graphically pleasant and light OS. Have the apps which I generally use.

There are so many useful apps that are found on iOS and Android devices that will just never make it across to Windows 10 for Mobile and those apps that do make it are pale limited versions of their counterparts on iOS/Android... It's is a shame though cause Windows 10 for Mobile (post Anniversary Update) and indeed Windows Phone 8.1 are a joy to use and destroy Android and iOS in usability. Microsoft really dropped the ball here and needed to do more to get app development running cause if anything it's got even worse on 10 than it was on 8.1 :(

                      But... using a Windows phone is still much more enjoyable than using an Android one. (as long as you are not dependant on games and countless farrt apps.

                        Any non-business related users of this device out there? It looks beautiful but HP doesn't seem to be targeting the masses with the Elite x3.

                            Nice phone, good hardware but OS..its cr@p = dead. Microsoft officially stop produce phones ? Its a pity that Elop destroyed MeeGo, I think MeeGo would be more loved by people then WP/M.
