And also Xiaomi made it in limited quantity and not be sold anywhere else in Asia or the world. No wonder they rank lower than others. Hugo Barra said they purposedly made Mi Note 2 with US LTE support for chinese users who often travel to US. Thats its.

After u bought xiaomi, you will get buggy miui update and no android update!

Xiaomi nowhere to be seen in top 3. All the reviews and good vibe it gives for nothing. Even the chinese knows Xiaomi too cheap to buy. Kudos to Oppo, Vivo and Huawei.

Units mean nothing. Revenue—that's what is important.

Not a fan of huawei but even then, have to admit they have phones that are much better than oppo. Maybe promos, aftersales, and aggressive marketing were where they got beat.

AnonD-599216, 29 Oct 2016Maybe because oppo/vivo marketing and advertisement really ... morenot too sure about that, but a Vivo V3 Max (4GB RAM, 32GB memory) can be had for 280 USD in my country, and i dont really see anything come close to it except maybe for a couple of Xiaomi or Lenovo. it is not surprising to see Oppo on the top because OnePlus is under Oppo, so they could be analyzing Oppo and OnePlus together. and OnePlus 3 is selling like hotcakes over here, many scalpers selling way above the 399 USD retail price, some are going as high as 550 USD.

Huawei will be back in top in Quarter 4 with the release of the Huawei Mate 9.

Have fun while it lasts Oppo!

Maybe because oppo/vivo marketing and advertisement really worked well...even though their phone is just an average if compared to other phone on the same price range.

Their market strategy is amazing. Both Vivo and Oppo under the same Parent company.

That's amazing, considering how Oppo doesn't even have a proper Flagship device and a design scheme that is all their own and unique to them
