October security patch starts hitting Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

This article needs updating, it's 290MB for a reason. It includes an update to the UI of the Gallery, first introduced on the Note7, but more importantly it also includes Samsung Cloud. This includes 15GB of storage space and can be accessed via Settings>Backup and Reset.

October security patch on November 1st. Apparently Samsung users believe their security and safely use worthless. ASs evident by the exploding Note 7

Yeah sure. new updates to "burn" your software so you can update to next smartphone. Since I got updates my note 4 is not the same as it was, it`s getting slower and slower. I will skip updates from now on.

Galaxy Alpha was an $600 phone. It had top specs for its time, better SoC than S5, better camera, metal rim... Galaxy Alpha was a high end phone. Which is why it is getting Marshmallow...

But over time you realized that good software is needed just as good as build qualiry, right? :) I am using galaxy ace 2 for the past 4 years now, got update from android Gingerbeard to Jelly Bean and thats all. But i am using community custom rom KitKat which works very well. But ordered OP3 which gonna be a beast phone.
