U think gaming industry started out with PS3/PS4 with cutting edge graphics? When Mario released in 1983 to the first gen gamers it was as much an advanced game as say Battlefield and COD today.
U shld thank Nintendo cos its they who created the whole idea of console gaming that companies like Sony and MS tapped into later. Also if u care to google u will know that these consoles had much more than the so called kids games...

With large tv screens nowadays, it is best that Nintendo considers a bluetooth connection for controllers or at least make the lead wires longer.
