Sam9teen, 02 Dec 2016Its already too late for LG, Indians dont count LG among pr... moreYour comments is probably 100% wrong, here is why (plural WISE!)

1st many parties if you're late for one you go to another one, this is for people needing a new phone now
2nd many people when in a phone shop are at the 'mercy' of the sales staff and in the end as flagship phones are similar in say 85% features so similar tariffs could be the reason why say one is picked above another, also most will pick based on the phones looks
3rd when you research you come across a deal breaker, one of mine is removable battery so I love the S7 Edge look / feel but even if gifted one would sell it and buy my phone if choice

4th I look for a new phone about a 9 months before my 2 year contract ends, so I know that some will buy phones more frequently, but when I upgrade, it is noticeable what 2 years brings.
On resale
5th I cannot still get my head around people who will spend more on getting a 2 year iPhone, than purchasing a new phone as IPhone keep a high residual value
So in that regard Android does not, this is due to the version of Android, as in 2 years what was flagship will become mid to high end with now say Nougat running.

The 2 year old phone in pristine condition is now competing with those so to sell your perfectly good phone at such a low price is giving it away, the real problem is that we don't need a phone right now, it's just vanity so in order to buy a new phone we want to be compensated for the old one.
You must see some people with really beat up phones almost from day 1 not taken care of, they do not worry about resale
Additionally some people finally get there dream phone and don't need to upgrade, that us why there are people still refusing to give up there perfectly working non exploding Note 7.

Imagine somebody taking away your phone and there is not a similar phone on the market

Finally marketing Google (Nexus) to the ubiquitous Google Pixel( which appears to be on every single network on this planet)

Here is the thing Google just make or release Android "iPhones" fixed in battery non expandable.
The Pixel is physically produced by HTC whose 'own' phone the HTC 10 which won't sell in the numbers of the Pixel is a higher spec phone as it does come with memory expansion.

In the end just say the V20 is overpriced, it is overpriced now, they do come down, but say it doesn't, you are paying a premium for the phone you want, I won't pay less if that means giving up memory expansion.

Here is a comparison http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&&&idPhone2=8238&idPhone3=8065&idPhone1=8345

200,000 V20 sales in 10 days US specs /looks etc a winning combination...
I'm done.

Few comments regarding lower sales of V20 because of demonetization are baseless and quite comic. Only notes of Rs. 500 and 1000 are banned. Cheques, DDs, credit and debit cards are not. In fact Government is encouraging the use of these. Which idiot thinks that some one will have problem of Rs 55000 cash and problems of purchasing this phone ?????
I got mine just yesterday and it works superb. Call quality, image quality, sound quality and UI are simply fantastic.
I agree with one comment - LG should have provided spare battery and charger rather then over priced B & O head phone. That comment makes sense.

I'm agree with you, but I think you have not check carefully the FEATURE of the device, it's main USP is Sound quality with coloration of B&O, and sound quality output very good if you are use B&O hands free, that's why it is bundled with it.
And off course, wall mounted charger also supplied with this, if you have out of power, connect & enjoy your V20.
LG's Phone is very good, No fire on your face....

Why not a battery and charging cradle as complementary gift rather than the B&O headset LG ?..??.battery and charging cradle makes more sense considering the fact that lg v20 has removeable battery that will give u more sales than the free headset cause most flagship buyers already have a hifi wired or wireless headsets ....which wud be way better than B&O headsets..

Its already too late for LG, Indians dont count LG among premium handset makers and that is the only reason LG's flagship phones fall flat on their face when they compete against the likes of S7 edge & Apple iphone 7 plus. Lg makes good handsets but they don't have that image in Indian customers mind that will make him shell 55k for an LG phone. And the LG has only itself to blame, no hard-core and proper marketing nor good aftersale support and timely android updates and not to forget the poor resale value of LG handsets. Overall they have a long long gap to fill before they can even think of selling a phone for 55k to indian consumers. No doubt there will be few ppl who will buy it, but that number is going to be very very small. I have used LG only once and i gotta agree i liked it more than Samsung but LG lacks that premium feel in their products.

As usual, india launch is late while all other countries already have it. Dear OEMs, just 'cause we're 3rd world country doesn't mean not everyone can afford flagship phones.

The only thing which is good for this phone is the build and audio quality, other than that it has the worst Android skin ever made. And LG is famous for its hardware issues, bootloop. So best of luck to the future owners.
