Latest Samsung Gear S2 update brings a slew of Gear S3 features

Joel, 06 Dec 2016Does it support to iPhones This watch does connect to iPhones, but with limited functionality and with paid apps unavailable through the iOS Gear App.

We found this out when we released Modality Typing.

Modality works on the new update but can't (unfortunately) be accessed at the moment from iPhones.

      DTLB, 05 Dec 2016Update is not showing up when I check on my AT&T S2.I received the update on my sm-r730a (unlocked at&t model) and it was only 120mb file but I got all aforementioned updated.a also noticed it released 200mb space of my watch storage.

        Received the update yesterday. Most features have been delivered (fresher UI, backer styles, enhanced S Health etc), but a stock Reminder app is not available via Galaxy Apps, nor is the Alti Barometer. Handwriting is also missing.

        Samsung support say that developers may not have ported these over just yet; why advise so in the update?

              Does this keep the old watch faces on the s2 and adds the s3 ones to it or does it completely replace them

                Got the update here in Singapore, but the S3 watch faces is no where to be found, even in galaxy apps. Maybe anyone know about the name of the watch faces?
