There had been increasing request from consumers for a full black phone. They dont want sapphire black, blue black or deep grey that these manufacturer had been giving us. They simply want PURE BLACK color. Back then around 4 or 5 years ago black color is not attractive due to most smartphone using plastic and being a fingerprint magnet. Thats why white is most preferred. Now, with amoled screen very deep black color its complement very well with black body. Although glass rear panel still a fingerprint magnet but oleophobic coating that you cannot find in glossy plastic phone is there to help. And most phone are going with matte metal looks these day. This is pretty much a very good reason to bring back the black smartphone. In the contrary, white smartphone now are considered as cheap looking and unattractively plain due to the rise of metallic paint that Samsung introduce since S6 era. A lot of phone are going with metallic color glass body. Notice blue color are increasingly an acceptable color for smartphone. Afterall, its just color. Even fashion world dont debate so much over color scheme or who copy who.

So pathetic from Samsung. All the phones now a days haver either 128 GB or 256 GB. And the Samsung give you the ridiculous 32 GB, and does not even enable combined storage option from Android where you can merge internal storage with SD card. The worse part is that in the 32 GB option most of the app (I should say all) can not be installed on SD card!!! Copying iPhone for the Jet Black and 128 GB option from Google Pixel. If Samsung continue on this path Chinese companies such as Huawei and Xiaomi will soon take over.

Samsung launch blue coral s7e in all south east asia countries, as for this new jet black i don't think it will launch in SEA regions, we only have 32gb so far, not even 64gb so i even dare don't think about 128gb.

To be honest it is just the current trend, Apple is known for following trends, and then when Apple does it suddenly becomes Apple's thing.
It's funny because if you released an all black device years ago no one would have cared. But the trend moved away from black on black tech and we are right back at it again.
