Hermes1, 08 Dec 2016Its a good thing too. Mobile store will stop selling these ... moreWhat a nonsense comment.
The non-removable battery is the biggest e-waste. Non-removable battery phones are disposable junks which you throw away after 2 years. People lose a lot of money because they are forced to buy new phones every 2 years.

given up on LG and their small batteries with the auto-dimming screen to save power.... Had the G2 but now bought the a phone with larger battery! I like removable battery but not at the expense of capacity

LG should go back to 5.5 " display. Hold they don't make the dumb move of not making the battery removeable while keeping it at current 2800mah..like HTC did. Battery rating should be at least 3000mah.

LG is introducing a feature in G6 wireless charging which limits the company to keep integrated battery, because of the wireless charging coil behind the back cover of every phone which have wireless charging. None of LG flagship had wireless charging, so removable battery was possible. On LG G series phone we have to put wireless coil and then plug it to mini usb and then put it on wireless charger, LG is reducing users effort. So it's not about water proof mobile, it's about wireless charging.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016we're talking about LG, why the heck does Apple is included... moreI was just stating that removable batteries are not always needed & my still pristine 4s that has now been passed on still works & still holds its charge.
Makes a change as I see plenty of non Apple related comments on anything to do with Apple.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016why would you bring your smartphone while bathing, washing ... moreNot so much doing the washing up but when I go to have a wash or shower or something than I do.
There was a survey in the UK a few years back that the biggest reason for liquid damaged phones were from being dropped down a toilet. Take that how you want as I do not use my phone when I go to the toilet!
Anyway, doesn't matter where you live, water/liquid still exists so waterproofing is a win in my eyes.

If they can afford an expensive smartphone they can get a decent laptop which is way better for productivity, gaming, browsing, anything really. Phones are past their prime it won't get any better than this, if anything it's regressing.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2016A sealed battery and glass construction would be the final ... moreYet. They though removable battery is enough and that people didn't buy it because they don't appreciate removable batteries.
Well a weak battery is useless, even if removable. Many people also need 2 sim slots. Better audio too. Their phones are just mediocre. And what their "solution" is? To make it even more mediocre.

I'm so sory to hear that LG will stop production of remouveable battery. For me LG v20 will be the last phone from this company. I will start looking for another replacement battery phone. I don't care how fat is the phone and glass covered( I'm always using cases) . I need long battery life and proper built+ good camera . I used G3 G4 and planning for V20.

I LOVE my G4 and HATE my G5. Nothing but glitches, phone freezes up, screen turns black, constantly has to be rebooted. Sprint tech service had failed us for2 months trying to get a phone we can actually use the service I am paying for. Recall the G5
