Just a *HINT* to the haters of the new design:

CLICK THE VERTICAL BARS TOP LEFT

To get a top menu with easy access to e.g. "NEWS", "BLOG".

It even remembers the choice for your next visit! :-)

I usually browse this couple of times a day using Opera Mini. But unfortunately I can't use it to view properly anymore. So I am using Firefox Android still it's not user friendly as with the previous design was with Operamini. And larger images mean more data. I don't know if the designers of this page checked user statistics like user demographics, their possible data speeds and cost, most visited devices. New users will come looking for a certain information, it doesn't matter what device they are using. But repeat users are likely to be using a mobile phone.

The new layout is simply horrible, featuring nearly every worst practice out there. The designer knows nothing about ergonomy and clearly has no competences in making user interfaces.

GSMArena 2010 was the best for reading. Now is like Windows Phone layout.
Phone Finder should be " Drop down menu" when search, not link to another page.
Mobile version it's better than this one desktop. Because it more simple.

Top part is confusing because the text is inside the images making it less readable. But the parts where the image is on the left and the text on the right is welcoming. I really like the single row implementation, but not the top part that we see when we load the page.

When you guys changed the layout and the blog the last time it was already more complicated to use the site but this is getting ridiculous.
Now I get to see the same stuff in extra large and have no idea where/when/what is new.

Today's web developers / designers are incompetent. Not only that the flat design is ugly and confusing, but the infinite scroll is the dumbest and most annoying thing.

In fact, the GSMArena at around 2014 had the best, most logical and the simplest design. GSMArena's design has been destroyed in 2015 July-August.

                                      @GSMA:

One of the main reason to prefer GSMA over other websites was its simplicity. All major info in just 1 page with a simple & easy to use interface. But now, to read anything, too much scrolling is required. This may be better for a mobile user, but for a desktop user, this just sucks.

When it comes to simplicity & 'all info in 1 page', the oldest UI (even before modernizing) was very good. The one before this change was also fine. I know mostly you guys won't revert it, still I'm keeping that hope :)

Else, mostly, this is the end of GSMA as primary mobile news website for me (& many others like me)

Two column layout was excellent & organized and even the original layout of the website was excellent, but the new one is simply non professional.

Loads of wasted space - Why not switch to smart API where the website loads in widescreen on PC and scales back in mobile devices.

Also, smart scroll has its own issues. like right now all articles a day back are appearing all jumbledup in my IE explorer (Win 10). Also, on some websites who employes such scroll, old articles many times don't loadup and have to be refreshed.

I am ditching Gsmarena, as I cannot read what I want immediately and easily organized manner.

Try a poll OR revert back to old design until you comeup with an better UI experience.
