Oppo reportedly set to enter US smartphone market by year-end

If it's going to remain pricey like it is in China then forget about it, OP is good enough for the US market and it must have an app drawer otherwise Americans will think it's just another wack Chinese knockoff clone of the iPhone. Still, I'm happy to see them become the #2 Chinese smartphone vendor in the world, Xiaomi really fell off with their cheap bendable phones lol

      people here be like, OPPO AINT GONNA WORK OUT IN US IF THEY WILL HAVE NO APP DRAWER / TRAY, ahm excuse me people, iPhone never had app drawer/tray since they existed, only thing about Oppo is that, for they range, they are way too overpriced

                  an android phone without an app drawer in the US, they should ask huawei how that was such an issue that they had to compromise by adding it as an option.
                  An android phone without an app drawer will never do well in the US.

                      To all the people below:
                      I do not think oppo will enter the us market with mid range iphone clones that make good selfies... that's what the Chinese want and that's what they offer. In the us, they will most likely adapt their strategy

                          Nobody needs Oppo in US or anywhere else, just OnePlus is interesting which is part of Oppo. Eventually they will be big enough to leave

                            Hmm. Ok I guess. Their subsidiaries Oneplus is better for US market though.
