Pia, 01 Jan 2017There is no such thing as minimum requirement for Nougat...... moreNot minimum requirement per say but minimum recommended is vulkan by google to it's vendors to better support new gfx/vr etc, hence any devices that don't meet this criteria will not get OFFICIAL support, Android One devices maybe an exception as they're more influenceed by Google and don't want to loose their customers.

1. Download Snap VPN and change the country to Canada. You will be prompted for the system update.
2. Let the update download (~1 GB)
3.Install the update
4.The installer will now boot to stock recovery and reboot with Nougat .
Folow this steps if you can't wait for the update to hit your phone

For you to receive the Android 7.0 / Oxygen OS4.0 update right away install Opera VPN, connect to their Canada server then launch System Update on the Options menu. I used this method here in the Philippines with my OnePlus 3T. Another tip - once it starts downloading, you can disconnect from the VPN so the download goes faster. :)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 2017dissapointed with the way oneplus have treated my oneplus xOneplus X is running on the SD801, so it's no surprise it won't have Nougat since the minimum requirements for Nougat is OpenGL ES 3.1 support, and the Adreno 330 only supports until OpenGL ES 3.0

Overall nice features, dual window works flawlessly and other stock features remains consistent. The only thing I don't like old app drawer with search window and cant use google launcher due to missing features in home page. hope they keep the drawer as stock as possible. Kudos for such a speedy release to OP team.
Install super VPN and OTA should show up, update was breeze.

When will OP2 will get Nougat update???? The Oxygen 3.5.5 update for OP2 was a flawed and was quickly pulled off air. Now many of the OP2 owners are stranded with Oxygen 3.1.0 which is not swift. Antutu score was hovering around 70k . And UI is not smooth on Oxygen 3.1.0. Hope OP2 will get Nougat soon.
