Looks like pricing will suck this year in Europe again. They may still think Europeans are idiots by overpricing their devices without any reason. In India I bet the prices will be $100 lower than in Europe for the same devices. I say no to Shamesung everyday.

EBay is a great alternative if you want a new were phone that costs less then retail. I got my s6 month after launch for £400 (rrp £560-£300). Even my s6 edge + was £360 3 months after launch (rep £600-£700). All items sealed.

Then you will start thinking, "Am I getting my money worth if I buy this old phone instead of the new ones? The new one comes with better chipset and the same price as the old version launching price." Then, new brand emerging with more innovation and giving more bang for bucks option. You will start thinking again, "I kinda like that new brand from China. They have way better specs and cheaper. If I wait a few months I could save up even more money on this new brand." Then, you keep eyeing on more and more launched products. It never ends.

Just don't buy them when they launch. In greece a5 2016 cost around 419 and the a3 2016 around 300 when they launched. Around 10 months later they cost 240 and 170 respectively.

I have paid 180 euro (on promotion with free shipping) for Allview Energy P9 lite and it's already better (32gb 3gb 8cores 1.5 mali 860MP2, 4000mah battery) than those overprized junks.

IMO the best way to buy Samsung smartphone is when it's already past one year old. Or when there are season-related deals and carrier promo. By that time you can follow the news about its software updates history and other things to see if it's worth the purchase. Other than that, the price will always be hard to swallow.
God, if OnePlus 3T came with IP68 rating. It'll be unbeatable in its price range.

Just look at Geebench single core score and Antutu score, there you can see the difference. Also, between storage speed and camera quality, there are worlds of difference
