Raphi7, 08 Jan 2017Hmm good, so any sub 300$ phone to recommend?Or you can also get a Lenovo like the K4 Note or Vibe X3. They're tough and durable and even their low-end phones have no lag. I recommended Lenovo to a few people and was actually going to get a Phab2 Pro but my cousin (who lives in the US) told me it cost 1000$ (which I doubt since it's listed as 500$). Anyways I don't think Lenovo will disappoint you.

It froze for a few milliseconds from time to time when I first got it but a software update fixed that problem. I actually like the fact that the skin has the looks and functionality of iOS.
I personally find that Motorola is going down especially in terms of design and number of phones released. Back when the Droid Turbo was released, I was angry that it didn't work with GSM networks and that it wasn't available in Lebanon. Not so for the Droid Turbo 2. And alcatel is actually my least favorite brand.

"In October, the phone showed up on India's import and export tracking website Zauba, hinting at an imminent launch in the country. But since then, there has been no news on that front." Not profitable enough over there?

Anyway after owning many budget samsung phones, i have decided to go with other manufacturers, unfortunately its a bit difficult here in lebanon and there isn't many "options".
Anyway how is your Huawei? I like Huawei but their skin looks just way to much like ios for me (i generaly dislike iphones). I just hope manufactureres with close-to-stock like motorola or alcatel come to Lebanon WITH COMPETITIVE PRICES.

Of course here samsung advertises cheaper phones ... morePersonally I'm not a fan of either Samsung or Apple but here in Lebanon it's all about the "prestige" and stuff. I live in a family of Samsung owners, so my choices to them (formerly HTC, currently Huawei) are weird, like "Who has ever heard of Huawei?" and "It's Chinese!", though their phones (especially the S7 Edge) face a lot more problems than my P9.

Anyway i like the new samsung devices but they are a bit overpriced, but anyway there is so little competition (everyone has either samsung(poor) or iphone(to show off and, at leat pretend, you're rich))here that samsung can almost do anything.
But lately i have seen that chinese and asian manufactirers on the rise, which is really good.
Anyway i hope more manufacturers come here in Lebanon with reasonable prices.

It's available in UAE since last year. Bought it before Christmas. The one I got had a problem with the back camera and immediately replaced with another one. Samsung Dubai issued a report and sent it back to Samsung Korea. I am very happy with the new one.

Definitely getting this if it is available here.

                              OMG!!!..OMG!!!...I don't care!
