09 January 2017
The report also notes that the Galaxy S8 will be launched sometime in April (which is inline with what we've been hearing recently).

Agree you can customise Windows too, I really like Windows 10. Have just replaced my iMac, Macbook Pro and iPad with a single purchase an i7 Surface Pro and I love it! IOS is so far behind in this area it is embarrassing.

huh ? with all the leaked rumors out there about the s8 specs, sammy still see 60 mil sales ?
surely you jest sammy, for starters numbers will drop for i won't say casual but ignorance non tech savvy symbolic driven people. Then there are some tech savvy people who will shun away too due to your component of choice like the very very dumb move of removing Mr.Jack from your masterpiece. don't follow down the doom path a certain fruit company is heading (if you know who i meant).

k0l9, 09 Jan 2017Nah that's impossible to sell such amount of units not even... moreI think that due to note 7 explosions, s8 will lose some sales to the "casual" buyers but will get more sales from samsung dedicated fanboys. It's hard to tell though as i am surprised that the s7 barely outsold the s6 despite all the praises s7 got from fanboys and media, and a lot of note 7 users going for the s7, and the more frequent sales of the s7 compared to s6.

I am having a good time with the Chinese manufacturers in my country. Sorry if it does not have the same benefits in the West:)

However they can get away with charging more and actually have the right more than any other phone company because of the amount they put into R&D, the higher tech more expensive parts, and the more advanced software and features.
What that all translates into per fan basis is just preference and opinion on their preferred devices. But their preferences don't change the above

Fact of the matter is Samsung still sells way more phones than any other Android manufacturer and the S8 will sell tens of millions of units, the competition won't impact it that much. I think the shipment and sales numbers for the S7/S7E is a little under-reported or not fully, it's definitely their most successful Galaxy S device since the S4.

If you didn't understand my comment I meant that the S series lost costumers to various manufacturers for better price or specs and numbers won't rise just because they remove some bezel in S8. They need to revise their prices simply because they don't run on ios and android competition is only going to get tougher.
