What The Heaven??!!

Being China as one of the largest manufacturers of smartphones, They just want to compete in the country of origin first. They can always bring changes to the specs after the market review. But not works really well, if the models launch in other countries alongside. Xiaomi Mi max is the example for that. They just wanted to have attention what the company is capable of. The pros and cons of its design and features will eventually equip them better to come out with better models targeted for other countries. As long as the specs don't vary much with the phone's internal storage capacity and if there is an expandable storage option. I wouldn't worry much.

For the specs offered, I believe Asus Zenphone 3 zoom is a deal. Dual camera with optical zoom, OIS and EIS for Camera and Video and a monster 5000 Mah battery in a slim size. People here are moaning it about being over priced and are even comparing with iphones and others. You don't have an issue throwing over 600$ for an iphone and more for Iphone Plus and lose your cool when Asus come with a price tag of 500$ for its 128GB model? Wow..Come out of the dark and compare the features. For me battery is on top of all. Whatever features you bring in a new device without bringing much juice to last for a day or day and half is simply hogwash. That is what iphone and Samsung has been doing with their models. Keyboard warriors deciding the price of the Zenphone 3 Zoom to a max of 300$. lol..Big joke you guys are. Considering the technology and hardware they are equipping in this phone, You can't expect it to come at such a low balled price. You all are looking at the brands. That is why you don't like Asus. The company is one step ahead of the game. Asus Zenphone AR is another model, when Samsung can't even make a decent VR technology design in smartphone generating heat after viewing for about 15-20 mins. VR and AR technology in Zenphone AR with liquid vapor cooling is something of a great design. Coming back to the Zenphone 3 Zoom, You shouldn't be expecting this to be a gaming device with high end processors. This phone has a good camera setup, a monstrous battery and hifi quality DAC for audio of upto 7.1 dts. I think people start looking into specs first before throwing their tantrums on brand or at price.

What makes Asus think their fans or potential new customers in the US, Europe etc do not deserve the 128GB option. It beats me how some of these OEMs reserve higher Specifications for devices reserved for their home countries.

Why on earth would someone do that when we have IPhone 7 Plus, Galaxy S7, Xiaomi, Huawei 6x, ONEPLUS 3T, ARE YOU KIDDING ASUS? THERES NO WAY THIS PHONE WILL BE OVER $300. PERIOD. your cute asus. that or the article is severely mislead. As of now the current zenphone zoom 64gb is $199. That's a decent buy, but the camera is terrible. Huawei 6x with dual cameras is $249. $500 for an asus phone? PLEASE IM DONE.

I hope this has a better camera than the pseudo-premium camera of the flagship zenfone 3 series.

It's still a starting price.I won't be surprised if it becomes 400$ in few months.Just look at Zenfone 3 5'2,from 350$ to 250-270$.

With Oneplus, Xiaomi,Meizu,Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo, it is hard for Asus to survive if they continue to set higher price at their ZenFone series.

ZenFone3 Zoom 64GB should be priced at $349, 128GB at $399.

I was happy too fast.... I thought the price would be in US$300-350 range for the 4GB/128GB.. For US$500, I would rather get their Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe or Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra with 4GB/64GB.
I hope Nokia 7 will use SD626/4GB/128GB with more affordable price!!!
