HMD is a finnish company, founded by an ex Nokian (and if you're fans of Nokia, you'll def know who Arto Numella is).

I personally don't think a device of this nature should be limited only to the Asian regions, its a lovely budget friendly device. Nokia should see to it that this device hit other international market.

Is a chi... moreWell, this IS a team of "old Nokia" design engineers, but yes, they'll likely focus on cheap, where they used to excel. Btw. the "Finnish Nokia" has over 50000 employees as of 2016 (source www.forbes.com/companies/nokia). They're just making other things than phones.

AnonD-288769, 11 Jan 2017They should make it worldwide availability from the start. ... moreJust wait. Rest of the world expecting top range device. ;)

HMD has a full access to Nokia's patents protfilio.
Nokia still has a seat in HMD Global board of directors.
No phone could be released before the green light from Nokia.
Please do some research before accusing us for being blind and spread trash!
