I currently own a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 and I am very happy with it but an SD card is strongly recommended other than that the phone is awesome and a great price /quality relacion

Crazy! - Huawei would rather flood the market with very similar models instead of delivering the security updates and nougat! I've been struggling to find a good mid-range because there are so many decent models in that range - but one criteria is Nougat upgrades. Why the heck would Huawei introduce an updated P8 Lite 2017 with Nougat and better specs as the P9 Lite and Honor 5C?? They make fantastic hardware, but are notorious for not delivering consistent software updates or have a proper roadmap. These days you have to purchase a marshmallow device with only hearsay whether an update will happen to nougat. Very confusing to the normal consumer . . .

I like Huawei for one thing at least, It's one of the few companies that still don't want to take off 3.5 audio socket. I respect every company that still want its customers to enjoy listening to music thru thier current headsets without worrying about a damn connector .

similar to honor 6x in terms of specs but few differences like 5.2" to 5.5", 16GB to 32 GB, only a single 12MP camera to 12+2MP, 3000mah compared to 3340mah finally Huawei to honor. I'll go with Honor 6x as it is lesser in price compared to P8 Lite

I have P8 lite and I am glad this new and better specs latest 2017 model is coming out. I believe it might even be better than P8 in some aspect. In fact when I first saw it I thought it was honor 8 lite. the design so much looks like honor 8 especially at the back. It looks like honor 8 with single camera lense. Well I believe the honor 8 made lots of waves in body design and has the love of the people and that is why they made a look alike P8 like 2017. The price is good I will buy one.

Yes that is what I am talking about. this is the style of Almighty samsung company but it is adoptable and very good too. It is in itself a way of updating a model with better specs for us by the company than to bring updates. If you love a P8 lite and could not buy one about 2years ago you can buy a better company upgraded brand new one. It is in a way of expanding their customer base. So is good for them.

AnonD-292864, 12 Jan 2017Better chipset, better cameras, more storage, more RAM, som... moreits time for them to make the phone with some tyres ..some fains so can be used as a drone for selfie.. a lighter for your cigarete.. a slot to put some alcoohol and keep it cold.. a meter to measure surface and why not a slot for your money .. and all thos build in.. with no case needed..! then we can talk about new things..! who cares about some rams thos are not new things

Looks like a little bit improved Honor 8...someone really messed up the namings on this and perhaps future lite series
