If someone don't want t sign on Google to be a beta tester their ,then downloading the app from Whatsapp.com is the best thing to do .

And it is actually really handy to have replies from notifications. If I'm playing gta or other intensive game on mid-low end device, so if I minimize app, I will have to wait long time to go back in app and then back in game with a hope, that it will not reload. I like this reply thing to be honest.

I still don't understand Android Nougat's obsession with notification reply. It's just feel like progress for the sake of progress! A notification is precisely supposed to do what it says, that is to notify the user about something so he can go to the app after reading the notification. Are you telling me that people are so lazy that they can't even go to the app directly?

We really don't need to build the app's functionality into the notification area, right? It just complicates everything......

Whatsapp is still working on my Lumia 800. And today I received a notification about update for Whatsapp to version 2.17.12.0 version. Can somebody explain what it is? I really won't upgrade because maybe it's some bug fix which will denied me Whatsapp for my old Lumia 800. Currently I'm running Whatsapp on 2.16.190 version.
