But 128GB for less storage (and if you insert SD card, you have worse performance than on board storage for sure and the SD card als costs money) you are at about 900€ without a case and screen protector.

It's what your getting for your money. iPhone 7 Plus has good hardware and is decent value for money, but previous offerings from Apple were very much overpriced for the specs compared to the likes of Samsung.

High price does not mean high quality. Look at OnePlus 3, it has incredible quality and costs 400€ (I'm using it) and the thing is, one plus does not include advertisements and other stuff on top of the price. Also they earn a little bit less while companies like Samsung charges huge price just to have huge profits. Also they have to invest a lot in testing after note 7 flaw.

With prices so high, no wonder Samsung is in trouble and loses markets shares to Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi and others.
Samsung phones are getting so expensivethat even Korean competitors such as LG are taking market shares away from Samsung.
I guess it is time to say goodbye to Samsung with prices like that.
I was waiting for the S8 Plus, but at these prices, Samsung can keep them for their tiny Korean market.

All of this is Google's fault... They priced their Pixel phones on par with iphones and now Samsung will be thinking why should they have cheaper flahships.
I bet the standard version will start from $749 (same as iPhone 7/ Pixel) and the edge version from $869 (same as iPhone 7 Plus/ Pixel XL).
But please Sammy, make sure the S8 is worth the damn price!
