Kirin960 beats SD820 in CPU performance but Mali-G71 loses the Adreno 530 in GPU performance. You are comparing oranges with apples here.

The camera position has always been like that since P9 way before iphone 7 plus released. Btw, if this kind of design cause Apple or Samsung to sue them, Xiaomi have the right to sue them back under Anti-Monopoly law.

Anyone who purchases a Samsung or Apple would be cheap by that logic. The fact is everyone copies everyone and it's only question of what suits your preference

I knew these chinese oems will copy apple and samsung lol. Moved the fingerprint sensor to the front with a samsung home button, and now samsung dual edge display hahaha.
The back camera position is exactly the same as the iphone 7 plus.
Even xiaomi couldn't stop copying the edge screen too! Lol. Chinese wil always remain as copy cats. People who bought them are just pure ignorant and cheap

Even the kirin 950 chipset from the P9 is able to handle games more fluidly than most of the SD820 toting competitors. So imagine what the kirin 960 can do. Give credit to where credit is due.

I used to be a Sony fanboy, but they dropped the ball way to many times. Especially with their cameras. The P9 won me over to Huawei particularly with the amazing cameras they've been packing lately. I'm something of a mobile photographer, so I'll love to see how the P10 can improve on the P9, and even on the Mate 9s camera.

I think the fingerprint scanner will be on the front because imo Huawei tends to make minimalist, clean back with just a prominent flower logo below that busy camera housing having two cameras, auto focus tech and all those brandings.

I am thinking of buing it but if realy have frontfacing fingerprint reader and the stupid curved screen I would go for the older p9. I realy dont see any advantages of curved screen, just a show off of technology, no real use.

Frankly a Front fingerprint sensor is better than a rear one. But Kirin 960 is a dealbreaker. Even though it uses the Mali-G71... raw preformance is equal to one year old Snapdragon 820...
